THIS IS SERIOUS, THIS IS WAR

This is an excerpt from an interview with Mike Adams at NaturalNews.com:

"Medical care in the US will drive our nation bankrupt, period. It will bankrupt our cities, our states and our federal government. It will collapse and it would be a very dear price to pay for that because I think we are losing the health of several generations in this country. I predict massive infertility, massive widespread neurodegenerative diseases, widespread cancer, mental disorders, depression. Basically, we’re going to have a population of mutants because of all the chemicals that are in our foods, and products, and drugs, and you can quote me on that, a population of mutants."

And then there's this:
Chemicals have replaced bacteria and viruses as the main threat to health. The diseases we are beginning to see as the major causes of death in the latter part of (the 1900's) and into the 21st century are diseases of chemical origin.
Dr. Dick Irwin, Toxicologist, Texas A&M University

From a recent article in the Wisconsin State Journal:
"Today more than 75,000 chemicals are registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency but less than 20 percent of them have been tested for toxicity. That lack of research means doctors and researchers often know little about the effects these substances have on humans or how much is safe."

Sounds serious, doesn't it? That's because it is. You can do so much to protect yourself and those you love: go natural, go organic, get off drugs as much as possible, exercise, eat really good food, no perfume, no fragranced products, clean with vinegar and lemon juice (that's all you need), read labels, cook your own food, don't buy anything wrapped in plastic, reuse as much as you can.

But what about the on-going poisoning of America by big industries? Can we do anything about that? Sure we can: stop buying their products! I mean it, STOP BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS. If it's made by Proctor and Gamble, SC Johnson, L'Oreal, Maybelline, Avon, you get the idea -- we're talking about the BIG companies -- DON'T BUY IT! Find alternatives.

And do it now.

What do you recommend for laundry detergent? Something inexpensive and still good for the environment and for my family.

Because we're filthy rich, I don't actually know how these products compare price-wise. I've been using a powder from Planet that comes in a fully recyclable cardboard box. I also have bought (but won't any more because of the plastic bottle) the 7th generation liquid laundry detergent. Both of these products are safe for you and your children, and they're definitely better for the environment.
You can also check the Guide to Less Toxic Products at http://www.lesstoxicguide.ca/
They do a good job of explaining why something is not good for you, what the alternatives are and even, how you might make your own (whatever they're talking about, i.e., make-up, soap, condition, fabric softener, etc.).

Good for you for making changes. Remember, baby steps. Also remember, make the changes that are about your children first and make them NOW.

I trust you won't mind, I've referred to this posting on my blog.

I admire your activist approach and hope to guide a couple more readers to you!

Hi Bartley,
I'm not nearly enough of an activist. I've actually been thinking about that a lot recently. I want to bring back eco-terrorism. Remember the Monkey Wrench Gang?

I think there's lots that we can do. Look at what Anonymous was able to do: 9000+ people demonstrated against $cientology all around the world on Feb. 10. That was amazing. Most of the demonstrators were not ex-$cn, they were simply aware that something was wrong and they wanted to call attention to it.

I want to do more -- I want to hook up with groups, like Environmental Working Group and others like them. I want to get petitions going, I want politicians to get off their asses and DO something to help!

Butsoanyway, thanks for the support, send folks along, that'll be great.

This is true. The manufacturers do not care about their customer's health - as long as they make a profit.

I had severe migraines for many, many years until I finally tracked down the cause. It was a very common chemical that food manufacturers add to virtually every packaged food product.

It was hard to track down because the food manufacturers hide the presence of this chemical.

If they do this with food, which is somewhat regulated, imagine what they do with their unregulated products like cosmetics and cleaning products!

This is just wrong!
